UFO's And Aliens

In Dogon mythology the Nummo's spaceship left a track of four colours, black, red, green and yellow as it moved through the sky. The four fold track, was known as the Nummo's track and was identified with a rainbow. It was also said to have looked circular with piping curling around the top of it so that it looked the horns of a ram. The tubing held water or what was referred to as liquid copper. During storms the Nummo would fly down from the sky and move into the water of marshes for protection. When it moved through space, the spaceship was also identified with a truncated pyramid.

The Nummo were thought to have come from either the Sirius star system or the Pleiades. They were green amphibious, snake, fish and lizard like beings. They were also self-fertilizing and were described as having horns or casques like chameleons.

Dorey believes that their unusual characteristics are one of the most significant aspects of Dogon mythology. She feels that if the Nummo had been created from the imagination, these beings would have been more human like in appearance. It is the fact the Nummo are described as being so different physically from humans that reinforces their authenticity.

Dorey thinks this is the main reason why the existence of these beings has been historically denied. The Nummo's physical characteristics are what humans would normally associate with an inferior species. The fact that Ogotemmêli talks about these snake, lizard and fish like Nummo as being more superior to humans must have seemed unthinkable in 1946, when it was recorded by Marcel Griaule.

It is probable however that any alien being that visited Earth would be very different from animals that evolved on this planet. According to scientists like Carl Sagan, alien creatures would probably not look anything like us because creatures generally evolve in relation to their own planet's environment. Sagan wrote in Cosmos that the possibility of finding intelligent life on another planet was probable but that the possibility of finding aliens who were like us was not.

According to the Dogon, the Nummo combined their DNA with the animals of Earth to create humans. After a third and final experiment they left the Earth but with the understanding that they would one day return.

In modern times UFO's began appearing in the 1940s. One of the first books ever written on the subject of UFOs was by Edward J. Ruppelt in 1956 called, The Report On Unidentified Flying Objects. Ruppelt was the former head of the U.S. Air Force Project Investigating Flying Saucers. He was the one who first coined the word UFO. In his book he reported that 20 per cent of all sightings were classified as unknowns.

It wasn't until 40 years later in 1997 that Col. Philip J. Corso wrote, The Day After Roswell and told about the alien beings that crashed at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Corso talked about the cover up done at the time and how security was so tight that he didn't even learn about the crash until the 1960s when he was asked to spear head the Army's reverse-engineering project based on alien artifacts recovered in the crash. This project lead to the development of fibre optics, integrated circuit chips, lasers and super-tenacity fibres.

Corso, who was a member of President Eisenhower's National Security Council and former head of the Foreign Technology Desk at the U.S. Army's Research and Development department, wrote a detailed account about the alien beings that were collected by the U.S. government based on witnesses from the time.

Unfortunately there is little information about their actual appearance. We can only speculate about them since the information about them is classified.

In The Master of Speech , Dorey reveals how Dogon mythology is one of the most ancient relgions existing in the world today. She believes their mythology may even predate the world flood. It is from descriptions given by Ogotemmêli that the true physical and spiritual makeup of the Nummo come alive. In the book, Dorey shows pictures of ancient artifacts that depict the Nummo as they were described by Ogotemmêli. The Master of Speech focuses on the spiritual Nummo and their connection to the Earth. If you would like to purchase, The Master Of Speech Click Here.
